We had an amazing experience at this hostel! Hostal El Bando made us feel right at home. the atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. They were there for us when we needed help, like when we were waiting for our baggage to arrive. the pool area was really pleasant, and it was a bonus that there was a mango tree where we could enjoy some fresh fruit. Plus, the location was so convenient, just a 2-minute walk from the airport. Cons: Not easy to find.

The value for money at this hostel was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable, with a nice shower and even a flatscreen with Netflix! The location was great, close to the airport and the beach, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the hostel had a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The breakfast option could be improved with a wider variety of choices.

Our stay at Hostal El Bando was amazing! The location was perfect, just a short taxi ride away from the historic center. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met. The breakfast was the best we had in Colombia, with options for vegans like us. The pool area was very relaxing, and we even made use of the kitchen to cook dinner. The room itself was comfortable and had a nice shower. We also loved the fact that there was a flatscreen with Netflix! we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.
Though there were a few drawbacks, such as the uncomfortable bed and the outdated poolroom, they didn't significantly impact our overall stay. We genuinely enjoyed our time at Hostal El Bando and would definitely stay there again.

Mind-blowing atmosphere, SUPER helpful staff making you feel at home. Jaw-dropping pool area with mango tree and delicious fruit. 2-min walk to airport, 5-min walk to quiet beach.
